Virtual reality seems like it's reserved for the tech set. VR products have been promoted either by focusing on the futuristic features which appeal to gadget-lovers, or by highlighting the content options, which never does justice to the actual viewing. Samsung teamed up with Preacher and Smuggler to make virtual reality feel human. We captured the genuine emotions of real people experiencing VR for the first time. Our debut spot captured a diverse range of individuals who didn't know they were being filmed. Based on its success, we followed it up with a holiday spot with real families, couples and groups giving and receiving a Samsung Gear VR headset and Galaxy phones. The reactions show us the possibilities of virtual reality.
