Banishment
of Solitude

From Austin portrait artist, Elizabeth Chapin, comes her latest series Banishment of Solitude. Created over the course of the pandemic, each piece is a multi-dimensional snapshot that seems to exist somewhere between sculpture and painting. As she explains, “In this body of work, I am playing with the stories girls tell each other and themselves on social media. How this is a landscape that offers good fruit and bitter fruit.”
