For SXSW 2018, Preacher partnered with Bumble to bring their app to life IRL. The 16,000-square-foot experience showcased Bumble's recent expansion from dating to friendship and business networking and gave attendees a way to experience making those empowering connections for themselves. Walking through physical versions of the Bumble Bizz, Bumble BFF, and Bumble Date platforms, visitors could immerse in the community, spirit and ideals of the brand. Across the two-day experience, visitors heard from speakers including Whitney Wolfe, Keke Palmer, Yoruba Richen, Esther Perel, Sally Kohn, and Cleo Wade, and others thanks to FlyteVu; creating an open dialog about inclusiveness, kindness, and respect. Attendees could also put themselves out there with experiences like 5-Minute First Dates, or The Elevator Pitch, where they delivered a one-minute business pitch to win the mentorship and resources to make it happen. And plenty of Bumble pros were on hand to help people get their profiles on point and ready to make moves.
